The Company You Keep (out April 18) is a convoluted thriller that struggles to hold together. It follows a man (Robert Redford), on the run for 30 years following a murder, who is trying to evade the authorities and a young journalist. This may have worked better as a mini-series. There are just too many subplots crammed into the two hour running time. Grade: C+.
