Tinā (out May 1) was hugely successful when released in New Zealand in February and is the tale a Samoan New Zealand who, after accepting a job as a substitute teacher for a posh school, runs afoul of its conservative leaders. Uses too many cliches for my liking but the wonderful lead performance of star Anapela Polataivao is to be celebrated. Grade: B.
