Bohemian Rhapsody (out Nov 1) has two main purposes. It celebrates the music of Queen and it delves into the life of lead singer Freddie Mercury. Rami Malek gives a wonderful lead performance but the film is weighed down by the breadth of material. Some subplots are quite shallow. Grade: B.
