From the Vine (out Jun 17) gives off Under the Tuscan Sun type vibes. A Canadian lawyer experiences a mid-life crisis and travels to Italy to run his late grandfather’s vineyard with no experience. It’s corny, contrived and you always know where it’s heading. The fantasy elements (eg talking plants) get tired quickly. Grade: C+.
